The Infraordinary: A Conceptual Approach to Street Photography with Sandra Hernández.
This one-day intensive workshop with Sandra Hernández invites photographers to move beyond shooting and engage with the deeper layers of meaning in their work. Rooted in a philosophical approach to street—and everyday—photography, the session draws inspiration from The Infraordinary by French writer Georges Perec, who challenged us to pay attention to the overlooked and to uncover the subtle narratives of the ordinary. Through a combination of group discussion, portfolio reviews, and collective reflection, Sandra will guide participants in exploring questions such as:
What lies beneath the surface of an image?
How can editing shape meaning?
How can we develop a more intentional way of seeing?
This is not a technical workshop. It’s an invitation to pause, rethink, and reframe your photographic practice with fresh eyes.
This workshop is supported by Fujifilm México.
⚠️ Important: Some activities may overlap. Please check the schedule carefully before booking. Participants will not be able to attend two activities that run at the same time.
