Open Call 2025
Series Finalists
Thank you to everyone who submitted to the Open Call for the Lisbon Street Photo Fest 2025. We were blown away by the response. So many thoughtful, clever and moving photographs made the judging process anything but easy – in both the Singles and Series categories.
The three series stand out for their unique and personal explorations of place, memory, and the subtle forces that shape human experience. Whether through a spiritual dialogue with water, a melancholic look into a city’s soul, or a reflection on urban transformation, each body of work reveals how deeply our identities are tied to the environments we inhabit.
We find ourselves returning to these series again and again. It’s a joy to do so and an honor to showcase such incredible talent in the very first edition of our festival.
Exhibition
The Series Finalists Exhibition, as well as the Singles Finalists Exhibition, was presented with Colorfoto, curated by Narrativa, and framed by Arte de Arcos. The Series Finalists were shown at FBAUL Gallery throughout the festival.

Kevin Wolf
HÜZÜN, 2023
Kevin Wolf spent over two years returning to Istanbul, capturing the social contrasts in the everyday lives of its people. What he discovered was "hüzün" – a feeling that Istanbul-born writer Orhan Pamuk once described as a "collectively shared melancholy", a deep-rooted sense of loss and longing that has shaped the city's soul for centuries.
