Photowalk with Robbie McIntosh

Join Napoletan photographer Robbie McIntosh (@robbie_mcintosh) for a unique photowalk in Lisbon’s shoreline, inspired by his long-term series On the Beach—a celebration of the everyday human body and the beach as a radically open, democratic space. 

Working since 2012 on this ongoing project, Robbie’s approach is honest, direct, and full of warmth. He photographs people as they are—without spectacle or glamour—capturing gestures, relationships, and moments of stillness or joy in bodies at rest and at play. 

This 2–3 hour session invites participants to shift their focus, observing how people inhabit public space with openness and vulnerability. With Robbie as your guide, you’ll learn to approach the human figure with respect, curiosity, and compositional instinct.

Who Should Attend?

This photowalk is ideal for photographers interested in capturing people as they are—unposed, unfiltered, and unguarded. It’s open to all levels, especially those curious about photographing in public space with empathy and clarity.  

Fujifilm Loan Equipment

Thanks to Fujifilm Portugal, a limited selection of cameras and lenses will be available to try during the photowalk. Equipment will be distributed based on availability and order of registration. More details will follow upon confirmation.
