From idea to paper: Designing and Developing your Publication with Four Eyes Éditions
Join Four Eyes Éditions, the independent publishing duo of Yegan Mazandarani and William Keo, for a comprehensive two-day workshop designed for photographers and visual storytellers ready to bring their photographic series to life in a photobook or limited edition format. This hands-on experience blends creative concept development with practical publishing know-how: from storytelling and sequencing to materials, budgeting, and promotion.
Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate, edit, and present their work – plus access to a material library for hands-on exploration.
⚠️ Important: Some activities may overlap. Please check the schedule carefully before booking. Participants will not be able to attend two activities that run at the same time.

Workshop Overview
This two-day workshop with Four Eyes Éditions is designed to take participants from concept to concrete plan—transforming a photographic project into a compelling publication. Blending artistic direction with practical tools, the workshop includes sequencing, material exploration, design, budgeting, and strategies for promotion and distribution. This workshop is not exclusive to street photography—it welcomes all types of photographic projects, including documentary, conceptual, personal, or experimental series.

- Meet your tutors and learn the Four Eyes Éditions approach
- Introduction to photobook creation: guiding idea, sequencing, and design spirit
- Participants present their personal projects and objectives
- Group discussion on visual storytelling techniques and editorial examples
- Hands-on study of photobook samples and materials throughout the day
- Afternoon editing session: refining sequence and artistic direction individually and in groups
Sunday, 28 September 2025.
- Strategies for presenting, financing, and pitching your photobook project
- Determining edition size, materials, pricing, and positioning
- Using budgeting tools and planning project stages
- Marketing and distribution: selling your book in local and international markets
- Final group presentation with projector and curated soundtrack: showcasing each project, group feedback, and open discussion
- Hands-on study of photobook samples and materials throughout the day
