Workshop Overview
Day 1 – Shoot the streets in b&w film. The workshop begins with a session in the classroom, where Diogo will share his references, visual approach, and practical tips for shooting with black and white film. After the introduction, participants will head out into the streets of Lisbon for a four-hour photowalk focused on spontaneous encounters, attention to detail, and visual storytelling.
Day 2 – Develop & Print. The second day takes place in the darkroom. Under Diogo and Ana's guidance, participants will learn how to develop their own rolls of black and white film and make enlargements on photographic paper. After a lunch break, the group will continue printing if needed, followed by a final session to share results, discuss challenges, and reflect on the process.
